Animal Charts – Fastest Birds – a Bar Chart

With the ability to fly at the amazing speed of 242 miles per hour the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest bird on the planet.

A few facts about the peregrine falcon:

The bird lives in across all continetns except Antarctica
It prefers to live and fly in open spaces and is often found near coasts as it feeds on small coastal birds
The peregrine falcon has a blue-grey back, barred white underparts, and a black head

In this excercise we will build a bar chart to see which are the top ten fastest flying birds in the world.
