Animal Charts – Fastest Birds – a Bar Chart

With the ability to fly at the amazing speed of 242 miles per hour the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest bird on the planet.

A few facts about the peregrine falcon:

  • The bird lives in across all continetns except Antarctica
  • It prefers to live and fly in open spaces and is often found near coasts as it feeds on small coastal birds
  • The peregrine falcon has a blue-grey back, barred white underparts, and a black head

In this excercise we will build a bar chart to see which are the top ten fastest flying birds in the world.
