There are 129 different countries around the world. Looking at a world map you will see they all have different size, shape and form. Countries around the world are very different from each other. Each has its own language, customs and traditions. But countries are also different in other ways. Some countries look big on the map but there aren’t many people living there. Or maybe exactly the opposite! Some countries look small on the map but there are a lot more people living there.
In this excercise we are going to learn about the top 10 countries with the largest number of people who live in them.
Using our Google Sheet and the table let’s build a bar graph that starts with the country that has the most people and goes to the tenth biggest country in the world by population.

To create this chart you can use several tools: Excel, Google Sheets, Google Data Studio, etc. It will also be fun to create a bar chart using a graphing paper. You can download this empty graph and draw the bars copying the graph above.
